What we build
Five things we do, and do every week.
Every service on this list shows up in our own project photos. If it touches the water on your property, start here.
- Piers & Docks New piers, long bayfront walkways, platforms and stairs down to the beach, built on new pilings.
- Bulkheads New and replacement bulkheads that hold the yard in place along creeks, coves and the bay.
- Rip-Rap & Shoreline Stone revetments that slow erosion along open bayfront and creek shorelines.
- Boat Lifts Boat lifts set on new pilings, for new piers or added to an existing dock.
- Pilings & Barge Work Piling driving and marine construction from our own work barge and push boat.
Same pier, same shoreline
From pilings on the barge to a finished pier.
On this bayfront job the excavator worked from the barge to set the pilings and frame the pier. When it was done, the pier ran out from a new rip-rap landing, with stairs down to the beach.

“Top notch, no one better out there. Thank you Vaughn!!”
The rig
A barge, a push boat and an excavator on deck.
Most of what you see on this site was built from the water. The barge carries pilings, lumber and stone to your shoreline and gives the excavator a steady place to work, so the heavy equipment stays off your lawn.
- Reaches waterfront lots with tight or no land access
- Sets pilings straight from the water side
- Brings stone and materials in, and hauls debris out
Recent work
Built on the creeks and the bay.
Where we work
Home port: Deltaville.
Deltaville sits at the tip of the Middle Peninsula between the Rappahannock and the Piankatank, with Fishing Bay, Jackson Creek and Broad Creek all around it. That’s our home water, and we work across the Middle Peninsula from here.

Questions
What areas do you work in?
We’re based at 16841 General Puller Hwy in Deltaville and work around Deltaville and the Middle Peninsula. Call to check whether your property is in range.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Call or send the form with a few details and photos of the shoreline or dock, and we’ll set up a time to look at it.
Why build from a barge?
Working from the water keeps heavy equipment off your yard, lets us bring pilings, lumber and stone straight to the site, and reaches places a truck can’t.
Will I need a permit?
Most work over or along tidal water in Virginia needs some form of approval. We’ll talk through what your project is likely to need when we look at it.
